A musician from the tribe of Levi living at the time of United Monarchy, first mentioned at 1Ch.6.44) referred to as Jeduthun (יְדוּתוּן), or Ethan (אֵיתָן); a son of Kishi; father of Obed-edom, Mattithiah, Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
