A man from the tribe of Judah living at the time of Egypt and Wilderness, first mentioned at Gen.46.12) referred to as Hezron (חֶצְרוֹן), or Hezronites (חֶצְרוֹנִי), or Hezron (Ἐσρώμ); son of Perez; a brother of Hamul; husband of daughter of Machir and Abiah; father of Ram, Jerahmeel, Caleb, Segub and Ashhur.
