A man from the tribe of Manasseh living at the time of Egypt and Wilderness, first mentioned at Num.26.30) referred to as Abiezer or Abiezrite (אֲבִיעֶ֫זֶר), or Iezer (אִיעֶזֶר), or Abiezrite (אֲבִי הָעֶזְרִי), or Iezerite (אִיעֶזְרִי); son of Gilead; a brother of Helek, Asriel, Shechem, Shemida and Hepher.
